As I was walking out of JC Pennys, there was a young girl standing in the front of my hood. As I got closer, she bent down and kissed the hood and said, "That's the closest I'll ever get to a car like this". Lol that made my day

Old fart is just jealous that your car is better looking than his. BUT, he has to realize that its a Camaro just like his. AND all Camaros are badazz no matter what generation they are.....They all have a place in time that's unique.

I had an incident a few months ago where I was getting in my car and when it started up the sound startled a older woman who was walking her dog down the road. As I drove by minutes later she screamed "PENIS CAR!" at me with an angry glare on her face. I have to say I kind of chuckled at that one...

Outside of that my experiences have been very similar to everyone else's. People (both men and women) go out of their way to compliment the car.

adjectives I've heard about my car: Sweet, hot, cool, gorgeous, (not being sexist but) many female co-workers describe it as "pretty" not exactly how I see my Camaro, awesome, beast

Nobody has said anything negative about my car but a couple guys told me they love my car but they are diehard "Mustang Guys".

99% good, I also have had a lot of red light conversations.
One scary experience- I was in the turn lane, turning left, red light. A man on the corner kept staring at the car, next thing I knew he walked out in the middle of the road right in front of me on the passengers side and just stood there, then moved to the passenger side and moved towards the rear. I made sure the doors were locked...the spooky thing was he never looked at me, just eyes on the car and it was the one time I didn't have my CC on me (my bad) The light turned green and I floored it. I live in Medford...unfortunately it's called "Methford" for a reason.

I had another funny interaction sitting at a stoplight. A guy in a red 5th gen rs was in the lane to my right a couple cars ahead of me. He didn't say anything, but he had his head out of his window staring back at my car for a solid couple minutes before the light turned green. He then proceeded to take off like he was shot out of a cannon lol.

Pulled up to the drive thru window getting some food on the way home from work, and the girl at the window said oh my gosh that's a nice car. She said that there are plenty of nice cars that pull up to the window but mine was the nicest she's ever seen.

I thanked her for the compliments and the food. The car took her breath away

Denver is not a city full of many bad-ass cars and car guys/gals. I get lots of compliments on the car, but an unbelievable number of people who don't know what the car is. I had 2 MILFs scream "we love your car! Is it a BMW?" I had a dude unloading gasoline from the tanker at a gas station say "Man is that the new Mustang!?!?" And I had 4 big, burly men movers stop to gawk as I drove by and one of them says "Damn bro! That shit is fly! Is that a Hellcat?" I did have a guy in a Cayman GT4 catch up to me to on the interstate to give me 2 thumbs up. That was probably the best compliment.

Had a guy hold up traffic the other day because he was busy staring at my car. His light turned green, people behind him started honking, he just kept staring, slowly started moving and gave me two thumbs up with a HUGE smile on his face as he went by. He was driving a Mercedes. Totally made my day.

After watching some of my dash-cam footage, I've seen a ton of people come over and check the car out in parking lots, I park as far away from everything as possible, so sometimes it's a long walk. Thankfully they've been keeping a respectful distance, so far. My favorite was a guy walked his son over, kid was probably 8 or 9, they both just stared for a minute. Then the kid made a move to get closer, like he wanted to look inside, his dad put his hand on the kids shoulder and tugged him back, shaking his head. Makes me wish I had a mic on the outside of the car.

Had two compliments last night at a gas station. The clerk was taking trash to a dumpster and said "Nice car man." Then as I was leaving a lady in her 50's or maybe 60 's in a newer Charger (likely a V6) pulled in then pulled up further and was literally just sitting there staring at the car. I guess that was a compliment.
