Used 'Fleet' Camaros - Good Deal or Bad?

I'm going to head over to Leman's Chevrolet in Bloomington, IL (http://www.lemanchevy.com/) hopefully this weekend because they seem to have some great deals on used 2SS's. However, most of them are listed as 'Fleet' vehicles which surprises me as you normally don't think of the high-end models of cars to be used in fleet.

They currently have 5 2SS's listed on their site (only one with available pic at the moment).

What do you think, everyone? Good deal on a used 2SS or stay away?

My opinion and only my opinion is that there are some mind blowing deals on new 2016 2SS's right now. You may have to look a bit but they are still there. Why purchase something that may have and probably was abused?

Good point I just haven't seen any new ones drop that low yet. Best I've seen is thus far is $37,900 and it sold before I could get a deposit made it on it :(

I just read a post yesterday where the guy purchased a new 2SS for 33k, of course your area may vary a bit.

A little off topic, but I got the build sheet on it and I don't know what this means:

OAR - EVALUATION VEHICLE

Vehicle is an early 2016 and was purchased at auction but was originally in Michigan.

Part of the Captured Test Fleet, which exists to validate engineering and assembly process before the start of regular production.

Thanks! That explains why the date on it is 1-1-16.

I can only think that they were used and abused to test them to the limits! I don't even think I would buy one if it was a dealer loaner vehicle as they get treated like rentals.

Labor- i'm pretty sure anything that was used in a 'captured Test fleet' for testing prior to the car being released is a prototype and doesn't carry a specific production VIN and the car is destroyed and not sold… At least that's the way BMW Porsche and Mercedes is. Anything that can be sold as part of a fleet was used for marketing events , advertising , exec demo etc. but had a valid VIN.
