Carbon on exhaust tips

Anyone found a way to minimize buildup ?

1. Polish the pipes to create a smooth surface
2. Apply a polymer sealant
3. A simple wipe then keeps them clean.

This, it's super easy to keep clean if you wipe it every time you wash your car. I remember someone asking why GM decided to have the outer tips black instead of being polished.
