LOL I doubt I will be faster than 11.6 and you haven't seen good air yet. Looking forward to seeing your other Mustang run.
I'm thinking you'll be pretty quick. If your willing to beat on the ole girl a little. I'm going to see if I can't borrow pat's skinnies and pull the interior out. Maybe shoot for low 11s if we get a real good night in late October or November. I'll get your and pats first race on video for this thread.

Post some videos guys when the you guys get out there.. Love to see these cars in action regardless of brands.

The competitiveness and respect you guys have for one another is top notch.

Back to stock with just crappy DRs tonight. Easy for ponies to pick on me.

Went to Atco tonight. Very strange. No one was there. I understand there was another event somewhere else. We were just about hot lapping. I was off my game with 2.0 60's and I missed second twice! A first for me in this car. I did have fun racing a Coyote auto GT. He had one of the Ford Power Pacs on his car and was running similar 12.7 times with him on street tires. I lost to him twice (both missing 2nd runs) and on the third time finally beating him by redlighting with my 12.785 to his 12.724. Red lighting would not have been needed except I gave him the advice to leave on the third yellow. DOH! His RTs went from .5 to .1nn. What was I thinking?

I will post the slip later. I am back to the stock CAI but still running the NT555R DRs. Still no better 60's than with the stock tires. So the racing is fender to fender.

Pat has 200 miles on the 2017 GT and it was the second time to the drag strip! He is on the Temp Tag Racing Team. Where are the umbrella girls?

The new parts may be a couple of weeks ARH still needs to make the 2" LTs.

I have said it before, don't remember if it was in this thread or not though lol. My experience with the 555Rs was that they were a great street tire but a terrible drag radial. I know some people love them, but I rarely ever got better results with those then I did with street tires. Seems like they really needed to be roasted to get good traction. My best results were with Mickey Thompson ET Streets, those were like glue!

What was your best run last night? I hit a new best of 11.65 against the white skat pack. I was hoping for a good race. When I noticed he had drag radials. But the guy was just happy to get a 13 flat. (His best run of the night) First timer out learning his car. It was a good thing you left when you did. One of the gamblers. Did a giant wheel stand off the back bumper. Ripped his oil pan off and then proceeded to run it out the lenth of the track. His engine seezed right at the turn off to the return road. Two and a half hours later they reopened for 1/8 mile racing only.

That is the worst when that happens. I miss racing a lot, but that is the one thing I do not miss at all!

555R's are the worst DRs ever. You need some ET streets. Drop them to 18psi, and smoke them good. You will hook for days. And they get better when they are bald. So dont sell them until the belts show. Oh and dont DD on them either....lol
