What's amazing is how poorly the R8 V10 Plus performed at VIR but it ran very well at MRLS.

I thought the same. Maybe that car needs a pro driver to get the best out if it...which would be odd, as it's known to be "easy" to drive.

Watched the videos several times....I think Randy will choose the 350R.

As much as the 1LE is a relative bargain, with the prices and cars above the 1LE, the GT350R looks like an even better bargain....(except if you pay 25K ADM + 67K for a 92K total...lol)

I'd still go 1LE...They will be plentiful and not have ADM. You could "save" 47K compared to the 350R....or buy two 1LEs...lol...

I agree that the 350R is definitely Randy's favorite! But from what we have heard it seems that the 1LE is Carlos and Johnny's favorite so that's good haha but keep in mid that there still a bunch of guys we still haven't heard opinions from and they all have input.

But I am almost 100% at this point that the 1LE will at least make top three and it could be between it and the 350R for the title!

The AMG guy is just regurgitating what theSpecial has fed him. It's funny how hard these people go after the 1LE and then you realize how many of them own a 350 (or supposedly do). They just cant appreciate that an options box could possibly be as special and as fast as the Shelby.

I really wish the Vantage was louder. Man, let that V12 sing.

I don't want a car that makes me walk on egg shells, Is anyone seriously going to do a heads and cam on their GT350? I could see some exhaust work or something but how far will they take it? With a 1LE, you are free to take N/A as far as you want, or maybe an LT4 (or Heartbeat) without a second thought.

After watching everything so far. I don't see how theycan Pick anything other than the gt350r. I'm not sure why the 1LE is even a contestant for this year. You can't even get one yet.

If I were a Ford fan, I wouldn't be bringing it to everyone's attention that the GT350 is a special model in the midst of SS 1LE comparisons. That is an embarrassment, not a compliment in that context.

SO far it's the only car RP had absolutely ZERO complaints or suggestions for. However I think there's more than a track time that goes into the judging for best drivers car. Correct me if I'm wrong.
If no 1LE's end up being delivered this year MT will indeed end up with egg on their face. The Chevy Trend comments will be flying.
