Z28 Fitment

I have the 20x11 and 20x11 z28 reps. I put the fronts on and they are rubbing the strut. Anyway to fix this? I have a 275/40/20 tire on. They fit my 5th gen fine but I bought a 6th gen and like I said, it runs the strut. I bought new tires and everything that I haven't put on yet. So these has to fit someway. I think the offset is 23mm, I think.

There are a number of wheel/tire fitment threads in the "Wheel and Tire" sub-forum. Your 275/40/20 tires are about 1" taller than the factory original 245/40/20 front tires so you may have problems getting them to work even with a spacer. Check the size and offset for your wheels and then look through the "Wheel and Tire" sub-forum to see if anybody else has found a way to run the same combination.

Good luck!

I ended selling mine, but I had the same questions. I was crazy enough to ask the seller of the wheels what has been working. I know, I know, asking people who sells these is crazy. Anyways this was what I got from them...

"The front has to be a 275/35 or 285/30 to work properly the 275/40 rubs the top of the strut mount, the rear 315 rubs the inner something like a 5 mm is needed, but I do recommend a 305/30 or 305/35 so you dont have to face any issues."
