Got mine a few days ago, but then my iPhone 6+ went out on me...looks like the 7+ has similar dimensions so hopefully it'll work with that.

Still debating how much I like it. My case isn't too conducive to ease of use.
Definitely seems to be good quality.

Not sure if ProClip still sells it but several years ago (iPhone5) I bought a phone holder that was adjustable. Got it because I used several different cases/covers. Still use the same adjustable holder on my iPhone6.

The photo I posted earlier in the thread shows the holder. If you look really close you can make out one of the adjustment thumb screws on the upper right corner of the holder.

I got a new case for my phone and I'm liking the ProClip more and more. It's so nice having the cup holders free for something like a cup...

At the moment, that's where my custom DIY ashtray is. But I like the stability of this mount. Wondering if I can modify it for my ashtray. Not sure where I could put the rocker switch for the light though. I'll have to think on it and see if it's feasible.

Either the one that is made specifically for your phone or an adjustable one that will accept a phone in a case. About the only choices you have.

It's really a 2 part unit. You buy the mount that goes with your car and you buy the holder that matches your phone. They screw together to make a "permanent" phone mount. It's a modular approach to allow people to configure any car to match any phone.
