IOS 10 messed my car play up
Hello all!
This happened to me, and I figured I'd put it out there since other people on the net seem to be saying the same thing. I upgraded to IOS 10 on a iPhone 6 and now Pandora, the Free Audio books app, and a couple others refuse to connect when plugged into carplay. They do still work through bluetooth. I wiped and restored my phone in hopes of fixing this with no luck, that's when I started googling it. If you have not updated yet, I would recommend holding off for a bit. Whiskey |

There are always bugs when Apple (or anyone else) releases a new OS. They will have an update in a week or so that addresses all the bugs.
 I upgraded 2 iPhones and my iPad Air last night and didn't have any of these issues. Guess the iPad doesn't matter but the iPhone 6 I normally use works fine. Anyone else have any input on this subject?

It takes 20 seconds to change a song now on my Silverado. Not liking this update so far.

Both my buddy and I have a 6s plus. He upgraded to IOS10 and I'm still on 9. Both worked flawless on our road trip today.

No problems on my iPhone 6 with iOS10. Appleplay is working same as before the update.

I notice that battery life is diminished. I fully charged my spare phone (iPhone 5) this morning and 4 hours later it is down to 80%. It has been sitting on the table, unused. Apple will probably release an update soon to fix whatever issues they didn't find during beta testing.

Only have had the camaro for a week but been on iOS10 for a couple of months, On the current build mines works perfectly. not a pandora user so can't comment on pandora.

Mine's kinda quirky too since I put iOS 10 on my iphone6 plus. It takes like 10+ seconds for the car to connect to the phone. Then it seems to work okay. But if I'm just skipping thru songs to find something I like, after the 3rd or 4th or 5th song I skip in a row... it starts to lag big time ,with a good 5-15 seconds between when I hit >>| and I get a new song.
I havent really tried Pandora or anything else yet.
