CarPlay Update

I know Apple announced in June there would be a CarPlay update and with the release of iOS10 today does anybody know when the update will be available. And do we have to go the dealership or is OTA?

I'm not well versed in this stuff by my belief has always been that the Carplay is actually coming from your phone so your carplay is updated when your phone is updated.

Yes, this should be accurate. Once your phone is updated to iOS 10, it should have the updates to CarPlay.
