Set a personal best, as well as what I was told was a track record for any Camaro

EDIT: wish I could change the wording in the title. You get what I mean though lol.

Went to the track Saturday and improved on my best time by about a second to a 1:38.04. If I wasn’t such a pansy on the front and back straight I could drop it some more. Besides the BMR end links the suspension is still stock. Still running on my heavy ass Forgestars with Sport Cup 2's. I’m hoping my new wheel/slick setup is here by the time I go out again. Finally experienced brake fade in the car. Hopefully some new brake lines fix that.

But other than that, the coolant and trans temps hardly move. And the factory brakes to hold up for several laps before you experience any fade. These 2016 Camaro’s are stout.

Smooth!

Car sounds ear-gasmic! What a great track too! Virtually nothing to run into!

Awesome, sounds like you may need to flush your brake fluid to DOT4 (if it has it already) to a fluid with a higher boiling point. RBF 600 motul is common replacement for a lot of us track guys here.

I already flushed and went to RBF 600. Some new brake lines should help.

In two words . . . track pads.

In two more . . . cooling ducts.

In a little more detail and considering the power that your engine is making, pads rated at least 1500°F.

And BTW, congratulations.
