Feels good don't it? No need for the PDR, huh? I'm right behind you, but we have decided on the A10 so had to let the allocation go to someone else. Hopefully by spring I'll have mine.

Right on! It's on my list too and although i'll probably never track the car more than a few times just to say I did it, I'll use it for something else (Dash Cam) and it's cool to have.

It will interesting to see if the car is completed with both the stripe and sunroof together. For 5th Gen. cars you could not get both the stripe on the roof and a sun roof. Congratulations and Best of luck of luck with your new car.

But you could still order the stripe package. Which is what you mean, I'm sure. I think it makes sense to not put a stripe over the sunroof

My question is whether you can get the roof strip with the exposed cf hood. I was told by dealer that the combination was not accepted in the workbench but I know it's available with the black painted cf hood.

Could it be the combo is not accepted because the exposed cf hood insert is a constraint item? Did your dealer try running the build with the cf hood insert / without the roof stripe?

Did you get a time frame on when your car will arrive? I have been told that orders are Phase two at this point. Phase one allocations have not been released. Which sounds untrue but the GM sounded very sincere in his explanation and I believe him. I was told to expect the car around April.

I ordered an MN6 build for Phase I and was told it will be ready by January. Status was SRE 2000 as of 9/8/16

Thanks for the info! I honestly believe what the SGM was telling me what he believes to be the truth and he is doing the best he can for me. I am going to investigate further on Monday. Chances are the snow and salt wont be gone and high enough temps to keep the tires warm wont be until late March or early April anyway but I am building a relationship with a new dealer and I feel they are shooting strait with me as far as they know. He is stating the delay is that Chevy is betting a lot on this car and putting all there resources into it and have established very tight tolerances that they want to make sure are achieved before releasing the car.

Congrats on your purchase..... very exciting!!!
