Sounds great man! I had the same idea but did not pull the trigger. All my cars had a cut out in them, I loved it.

I am seriously considering this and will probably get the setup from QTP.
Yeah you can adjust it to any percentage of open/closed. It comes with a switch too but I thought trying to take apart the center console and find room for wiring and a switch would be difficult so I got the additional wireless remote. It has an open and close button and you just hold it to turn valves. Takes 5 seconds to go from closed to open and vice versa so you can just let go of the button at any point and the valves will stay there. Very very cool

No nothing yet. Still trying to find time to make an appointment to get tuning since I'm not sure how much the new exhaust may have thrown things off

Battery is in the passenger side wheel well. The fuse box is in the middle of the trunk floor. I'll have to look to see if my installer drilled any new holes because I'm actually not sure

If you could find out that would be great. When I had the Ypipe cutouts on my last Camaro, I had to make a small hole to get the wiring through.
Yes please because I am curious how they sounds with the stock system!

Good afternoon! Just wanted to share my latest exhaust mods. So I had some Stainless Works headers, high flow cats, x-pipe(without the 2.5" inner neckdowns) and 3" afm valves, all running into the stock NPP muffler installed back in April. It sounded awesome and I loved that it's whisper quiet with the NPP valves closed because I can hold a conversation or listen to music with no issue but with NPP valves open, even though it is way louder than stock, I wanted something even louder. Well after looking at all the aftermarket axle-backs with NPP, I didn't like any of them for one reason or another. None seemed to give that whisper quiet mode with NPP valves closed and I didn't want to give that up.

So ultimately after considering my options, I decided why not bypass the muffler completely! I ordered some QTP electric cutouts with the wireless remote and had them welded in at the rear axle. You just hold the open or close button on the wireless transmitter for 5 seconds to open or close them and you can stop them anywhere in between if you want.

My installer and I were both shocked at how ridiculously loud this setup is now with the cutouts open. We had no idea the stock NPP muffler is doing so much muffling even with the NPP valves opened. With the QTP electric cutouts open, this thing sounds as loud as my 2002 Trans Am with open headers! It's shocking!

I made a few videos to show the difference.

Tour mode, NPP valves closed

Sport mode, NPP valves open

Sport mode, QTP electric cutouts open

Short WOT run with QTP cutouts open

Here are some revs with NPP valves closed, then open, then QTP cutouts open. The video doesn't do a good job capturing the true volume difference between NPP open and QTP cutouts open though. The difference is in real life is huge. QTP cutouts open is like 10x louder.

So I think I'm done with my exhaust for the time being. I love having the adjustability to have no one notice me and not upset the neighbors or draw attention, or I can be decently loud with the NPP valves open, or I can wake the dead with the cutouts open.

I just put on a roto-fab CAI so next step will be some tuning to dial everything in and tune out some codes i'm throwing for the high flow cats.
If you guys have any questions, just let me know!
Very cool! Thanks again for using our system. If you ever have any questions or concerns, you can call or PM us anytime.

PS - I finally decided to open my car up WOT Competitive Launch Mode! Man, this car sounds BEAST!!!!! The clapping of the NPP exhaust sounds bad ass.
Is it Monday yet?

I'm very excited since I personally loved the sound of the stock exhaust via-Lethal's comparison video! Hopefully it'll have that same industrial sound but 10X louder (when of course I wanna open her up).

I love the idea of having Stealth Mode too esp after work since I'm tired and simply want to listen to Talk Radio! I love on my days off having her on Stealth but opening her up when I see competition barking theirs up to show off.
I agree 100%. That is exactly what I'm looking for.

Did you order the 2016 specific one? I am trying to order and not sure exactly what items to get. Looked at the 2016 one and it says it comes in 2.5 and 3 pipes but no where to select which one. Also dont know what size turndown to get. I have the factory npp. Would the 3 inch be louder or something?

I think I'm going to cancel the install and just live with the NPP since it sounds great anyways!

Too bad, everything keeps getting too damn expensive out here and the last owners charged me like 150 total!

Plus I should of ordered the turn downs because I realized that the exhaust flow will get very near the carpeting underneath which could start a fire. So much for the low profile cutouts! I already have my used YPIPE CUTOUTS....Sometimes I wonder why I make bad decisions.

That sucks to hear, I ordered the 2016 Camaro specific package with the turndowns and have a buddy that is going to charge me 100 to cut off the secondary cats and weld the cutoffs in the back. Should be doing that on next monday.

Not sure if the is room for them to fit. The qtp for the 2016 goes right before the muffler where there is some space. https://www.quicktimeperformance.com/Aggressor
look at the intructions for the 2016 part number to get an idea.
