I was referring to being on a bike yourself, not driving the cage. Seemed pretty clear when I wrote it and again just now.

Point is don't ruin another guys ride. As fellow bikers, moving to block another bike is ignorant on a whole another level.

I'm not sure I understand the complaint here......
I think that comment was from a sport bike rider that wants the ability to pass the Harley rider in his lane when he wants to ride faster, particularly on a road like the Dragon. If I ever felt like I was holding another bike or car back, I'll back off, acknowledge them, and waive them by. If I haven't done so and you encroach on my space, you'd better hope your bigger than me, or I can't catch you. I get the space of a car unless I'm paired with a rider and it is mutual and trusted. It takes thousands of miles together to share a lane.

Thanks. I'm pretty happy with my tractor's performance. LOL I broke both my arms in town when a lady pulled in front of me so I don't need to up the ante!

Hence the "Harley" Mentality. Not all but most won't wave to any other bike unless its a harley, some won't ride in a group with non harley bikes, etc etc. I've seen it all. Some of My friends have harleys and I have helped them work on them numerous times. I have nothing against them but I choose never to own one.

I made the comment of passing a guy that was hogging the road and forcing everyone behind him to do 30mph lower than the speed limit. When we rounded the corner and came up on a straight where I could pass him, he got mad that I start passing. A couple miles later he spoke his mind to me at a light. I ride a Harley too, not a crotch rocket.

He was a land pirate. Sketchy looking fellow, wearing flip flops, shorts, and no shirt on. Chain smoking and tossing his burnt butts into the dry grasses on the shoulder. He didn't acknowledge other riders, vehicles, or pedestrians that were riding bicycles through the hill country roads. I have no respect for them and will pass and leave them behind without thinking twice if they are going to be upset with me, or not.

Look around people, dick heads aren't limited to riding/driving any specific make/model. They are everywhere on or in anything.

Personally, it doesn't matter to me what you ride, although I am a Harley guy through and through, just like I'm an American car guy, I have no interest in foreign cars of any caliber but regardless, if we ever meet and decide to ride/drive together it's all cool with me.

Just for the fun of it, here's a few from my earlier years.

There is an interesting twist coming up here. Car drivers don't understand why someone would ride a dangerous bike and some even want to ban them. Now comes driverless cars and people will want to ban cars that don't have the feature because they are not as safe.

...an when they came for me there was no one left to help me fight for my rights.

Just remember, only YOU can allow them to ruin your good ride. I agree there are many inconsiderate clowns on bikes, but, in the end, if you let their riding style bother you, YOU let them ruin your good ride.
