So I just watched the new episode of head to head on MT on demand, GTR vs. NSX...

NSX ran a 1:36:36 and the GTR ran a 1:37:08. That puts the 1LE basically within half a second of F@%KING GODZILLA and only a 1.3 behind the $200k NSX, color me very impressed! Also it's kinda funny how much they complained about these cars haha

Also they keep pumping out videos with other cars from the Best Drivers Car comp. so don't be surprised if we see an ignition episode featuring the 1LE, or maybe even a GT350R vs. 1LE Head to Head!?!

It ain't cheating, the darned Voodoo is a liability. You can't even take advantage of it's best feature for more than 8 seconds without it going into limp mode. What's it's hp output at 6k rpm again?

I'm guessing you're joking.. Lol.

I just saw someone say the wheels are cheating, but nothing regarding the engine..

To get this back on track, I'm really surprised by the performance of the 1LE. Down on power, up on weight and without the aero, I'm impressed it ran with the GTS. What's even more shocking is it beat the Z/28.

I must say that is might impressive. So, GT350R is quicker around than the NSX and GTR.. How did the GTR end up that slow? Lol

My thoughts as well. I would have bet against it beating the Z/28...BUT, I am sure happy with the results so far.

Not to mention they have some good footage of it on course and it looks awesome! It's even in the blue that I want to get.

Just thought I would pass the info along. For those without MotorTrend on demand, you should see the new episode in about a month on youtube.
Just curious, how much is "slightly slower"? Was it specified in the show? Because the bigger that slightly slower gap is, the smaller the gap that the GT350R owns over the 1LE is. Which is...pretty cool.

Very VERY slight. Almost identical times.

I can't wait to hear the opinions of all the reviewers on the 1LE!

They didn't say the GTS was slightly slower than the 1LE. They said it ran about the same time. The 1LE could be faster or slower than the GTS, but they didn't say which it was.
