Thanks! You're one of the few that sorta knows where I'm going with this car, lots and lots planned for the future!

Hey if u don't mind me asking how much did it cost you for the vinyl hood wrap? And how much do u think the roof would cost to get done also?

Cost under $200 for the hood, but I had it done from an individual I know and not by a shop, so it may not be an accurate cost.

Lots of plans for the next couple weeks on Blue. Meeting up with the guy that wrapped my hood to try out a few things. May even work with him to change stuff up pretty regularly so he has a 6th gen to test fit stuff on!
By far more obsessed with Blue than I was with GhoSSt (5th gen SS), and that's pretty hard to do.

Several little things I've done over the past couple weeks listed here, nothing major though. In order:
I debadged the side Camaro badges as well as blacked out the little strips below the running lights ![]() ![]() Then I debadged the front SS badge (which honestly wasn't 100% intentional but hindsight is 20/20). I meant to just remove and black out the chrome on it, buuuuut mistakes were made, and I ended up liking it this way anyways! I also blacked out the rear SS badge at the same time, but I don't have a pic handy. I'm sure you can imagine it. ![]() Now a couple fun pics for some Camaro porn! ![]()

Finally got to Texas Motorplex this last Friday and boyyyyy did Blue run well! Cranked out 12.4x all night aside from one bad launch. Also a fellow club member got a good pic of me launching, I love how hard this car pulls!
12.40: Launch control, track mode, light burnout to clean the tires. Sat for an hour before this to cool down after driving a couple hours to the track. 12.46: Competitive mode, track mode, light burnout to clean tires, rolling into the power easy (and admittedly I probably could have rolled in harder and been safe). HOT LAP on this one, right after the 12.40. 12.41: Launch control, track mode, light burnout again. This time I was racing a buddy in his cammed and tuned 5th gen with drag radials. He ran a 12.33. Talk about a damn close race. About 1.5 hours after the prior run so cooled down. ![]()

It left it out because it's required for launch control. Figured someone would catch it like you did. So yes, pull 1 and 3 were also in competition mode to engage launch control.
Related note, I left track mode mentioned on all 3 because you can do launch control in both track and sport, so I specified a bit more.

It's a blast! Lemme toss on a blower and some drag radials and we may see some space between the front tires and the ground!

What did you use to black out the silver strips under the DRLs? Plasti dip?

Yep, very carefully taped off a few strips of tape, then added newspaper to cover a wider area around. Because of some of the sharp angles there may be some missed spots. With those, I just basically use a toothpick as a plastidip paintbrush.
