I charge my 7 on it. No mods. It works. Just doesnt charge fast enough. Need 100% in 15 min drive time. LOL

Mine charged pretty quick(from what I could tell) with my setup.

It won't charge your iPhone until Apple puts the required inductive charging coil in the case of the phone. I don't know if aftermarket cases are available for the iPhone that have it. It may be in the iPhone 7.

There is no "correct"way to build an inductive charging pad if your phone does not have inductive charging capability. A phone cannot be charged inductively unless it has the hardware for inductive charging.
