Yes, thank you as it is confirming much of what I've thought, however, I was not clear on my question. My dealer knows he has allocation for 1. Do any of the dealers know if their allocation will be picked up in any particular cycle? Or is it more of a 'submit and pray' on Sept 8? The allocation letter mentions that Order Management Date may contain this information right now and could be available to dealer through the Aug Cycle Final Allocation, 2nd cycle. I don't know if I'm interpreting that accurately.

Additionally, since my car is sitting in que at 1100 with no constraints, does it just get picked up for build or does the dealer need to do something on Sept 8 (through 13)?

Yeah, I get that I'm splitting hairs here but believe me that it is critical as to when this things comes off that train. This bad boy is a cash purchase that will require every penny of my year-end-bonus. Need to make sure the timing is parallel

Yes Al said so. I'm hopeful that I will get one before the warranty on my new HC runs out.

Heard today that the MXO 10 speed will be so late it's gonna miss the 17's and be in an early release 18. Anyone that can confirm on here ?

So, I see your dealer has one ZL1 for phase 1, mine for example has 3 ZL1s available...if that is their allocation, then that is pretty much what they will have physically for the first 4 months. From Oct, when they start building until around Feb. I have not seen/read/heard any news about phase 2 allocations or even when those orders will be able to be submitted to the workbench...I am not sure if that answers the question that you posted in the second part there. But as far as Sept 8th or so, that is just phase 1 and the allocation(s) that the dealers currently know they are getting. Those cars are supposed to be delivered between Dec-Feb...so they say.

Sorry, I am not fully understanding...what do you mean 1100? If you have no constraints, you are using you dealer's one(1) allocation and they have submitted it to the workbench, make sure you have a copy of this...then the order will be placed on Sept 8th(or so) and you will get your nice, new, shiny ZL1 in the phase 1 window...again, so they say...lol.

I heard the only way that a dealer can gain allocations is if a dealer does not want theirs and does not order something. The non-ordering dealer could "give it up" which would mean there would be extras available, but I am not sure how that would work or who gets first "dibs"...quite honestly, not even 100% sure how factual that information is...just something I heard. If someone knows if that is true or false. I would like to know

...not even sure what Dealer would actually give up on ordering a ZL1 considering how few there will be in the beginning...

"Eventually" is the key word...definitely not anytime soon...by the time everyone who wants one is able to get one, the gen 7 will have spy photos out already....

If so would be nice to know before sept 8th/9th so I can switch my order to an M6. I don't want to miss next summer.

Don't think they meant coming any later than June 2017 but because it's June they may label them 18's....

Again early info is that MXO A10 earliest Q1. Is that Jan or March? Again that's the earliest ! By the time they ramp up and production and ship and deliver it could be May/June... Again that's if it's best case Q1...

Like most of us don't hold your breath ....

Could be a longgggg winter waiting for answers and timelines ....

based on the letter what I understand is that allocation estimates for the first phase are out, 4 ordering cycles will happen for phase 1. a dealer with one estimated allocation can see it as early as next week or as late as December or possibly not at all under certain circumstances.
