Is it me, or do a ton of dealers not know or understand what allocations are?

I've called just about every dealer in Maine, most of New Hampshire, and am now working my way into Massachusetts.

No luck thus far finding an allocation for Phase 1 or 2, and many I've called don't even seem to know what I'm talking about. Wasn't this information passed on to them a few weeks ago?

Anyone here know of a dealer in the ME, NH, MA area with confirmed allocations?

well, technically nobody has an allocation, they have guide numbers for phase 1 for what to expect. Each ordering period the dealer will have to check to see if they have received their allocation to order at that time.

Ahh gotcha, so for phase 1 they won't really know until Sept 8th, or there around. Sounds like I got guide numbers and allocations crossed up!

Nothing.... I've got 2 dealers that will be putting in orders for me as sold vehicles, in hope that GM will pick up the order. Especially, because I want an M6.

Also, you are prob getting sales guys on the phone and most dealers don't give info to their staff regarding distribution policies, that's a sales mgr function. Nobody is gonna give you straight info over the phone.

I called them, they didn't know if they were either, they actually told me they didn't think they were.

But, sounds like I got guide numbers and actual allocations mixed up, so maybe they will once ordering opens up.

I called them 2 months ago to see if they had any insight on when i could place an order and the Sales woman said I can take your order right now

I'm just gonna wait it out and see what pops up at dealers at this point.
