Chevron 91 or Shell 91 for me since that's the highest we have in Utah.

So the best gas prices for me (Top Tier) when figuring in proximity and price, it would be the local 76 station.
And I was bitchin when I paid $2.15 for regular in my Toyota the other day.

Texaco, Sunoco or Exxon 93 depending which direction I happen to be going.

I'm not saying there should be penalties for stupidity,
but why don't we just take the warning labels off everything and let the problem solve itself.

Top-tier only... usually Shell, Mobil, Chevron or BP. Whichever happens to be closest to where I am at the time of needing to fill up.

Please avoid this gas station if you need to fill up in the Goleta, CA area. There is a Chevron station just down the street that has much better prices.

The 3 closest stations to me are all Shell. The Nitro+ V-Power Hyperdrive Starbucks additives don't do squat for DI vehicles except lower the actual percentage of gasoline per gallon even further. Would rather run EF93 or E85, but Thornton's are far from work and home.

This is pretty good advice.

I work for an oil refiner that handles a lot of the supply in the region, and I am here to tell you, the only real difference between the brands is the additives they choose to add to the fuel at the truck rack where the tanker trucks get filled, or at the gas station. Gas is made at the refinery, and sold as many different brands. There are Shell stations all over Southern California, but there hasn't been a Shell refinery here for almost ten years. If it's Top Tier, and coming from a place that sells a lot of volume, it's hard to go wrong.

So I buy most of my fuel from ARCO stations. Unless I need to take a leak, then I stop at Chevron stations because they have the best bathrooms. But their gas is too expensive.

Was using BJ's for awhile since I get 10 cents off with the credit card, but last two times I used Sunoco. And for some reason my MPG's went down a little. I am going to try Mobile next to compare all three and see which gives me the best results.

I try and use Shell V Power 93 octane in my 2SS. It seems to run better than Chevron or several other brands that I have tried. That's my two cents worth!
