I have found that if you pull over for 5-10 minute intervals and open your windows the fog begins to disappear. I had a terrible fogging issue the other night, pulled over twice (10 minutes each time) and I was able to get home before a third fog flare-up. Not really a solution for the problem, but I did not feel safe driving with the poor visibility.

Sent my PM to GM customer service - don't expect any response though. Has anyone heard back from their PM's?

If anyone has to lemon law their vehicle, how do you feel about the depreciation hit? Is there any way to get any of that depreciation back from GM, considering that if we'd have known the windows would do this, we never would have bought the car in the first place?

It took about a week then I got a reply. They said they reopened my case for the 3rd time. Nothing since then though. GM originally threw in the towel then my dealer did the same. I've sent them every single case I've found of this happening to others as it does with my car. It seems as if it's fell on deaf ears but hopefully that will change.

I'm in too deep to lose my a$$ on this car over the windshield fogging up. Fortunately engine, transmission, rear, paint, my link, npp exhaust, mrc, everything else has been rock solid. I'm hoping that all the things I've done to make this car just like I want it will pay off when GM steps up and issues a revision to the vertical air vents blasting the windshields with cold air even though we have our settings on torso only. That is the biggest problem I have. On a low to mid 90's outside temperature day the very least I can run both sides of my temperature in the cabin is at 78, anything under that and the windshield fogs up excessively.

WHEN and IF is the question

I'm too busy to even get back to the dealer to throw them the car right now. Total swamped at work and having to be on 24/7 on-call for issues during this storm isn't helping my sleep or sanity.

Getting home at 10pm after a 12-14 hour day is really putting me at risk and I'm still very pissed at Chevy. If they don't get their asses moving on a prescribed fix for the HVAC, my two 2016 Chevy's will be my last GM vehicles -- period.

People want to joke on this, but they don't experience it. My family have all said they won't ride in the car anymore until it is fixed because when they can't see out either, they get scared.

Is the condensation on the outside or inside? Using your wipers does not get rid of it?

Jesus GM better fix this. I'm sure they will eventually. Why I always hesitate to buy first new model year of any car.

I am having the same issue since beginning but it was worst yesterday night, couldn't see out front. Researched here and already found this thread.

I have the same problem and haven't pm'ed customer service or made a fuss with the dealer yet. Main reason is I see no resolution at all for those who have and no real effort being made. Not really interested in lemon law, may change my mind in spring if there is no fix.

Mostly I have to set the the AC temp to 75, any lower and it will fog on me. Luckily my commute is short 15 min. After coming out of the Fab shop a couple of weeks ago I couldn't take it after being in the heat all day and set the a/c to low. Was 90 degrees outside in the middle of the afternoon in full sun 100% humidity, the thing still fogged up so bad I had to use the wipers to see after 15 minutes.

Yes, I did get a response from PM'ing GM CS on here. I have an open case with GM's Exec Office so they made note on the case. I've been providing them with information and pictures and such, and my Camaro is going back l to the dealer tomorrow.

I know I know, but look, I want this problem to be resolved, and I'm trying to do whatever I can to help GM find a resolution. I really don't want to take a hit on depreciation if I went the Lemon Law route. Had I known this was a problem before purchasing, I probably would have something else. In addition to 1) the fogging, they are also going to take care of 2) the recall on I4 and V6s with the engine fan/overheating issue, 3) the dashboard speaker on the driver's side goes in and out, and 4) the latch to access the back seat on the passenger seat is loose and won't pop back in.

I have just over 800 miles on my car.

Vtirocz- it's on the outside. Yes, wipers wipe it away, but it almost instantly fogs back up. So some mornings, when it's dry out, you're driving down the road with your wipers on because your windshield is half-fogged.

The sad thing I really love this car. But the fogging and everything else, really? And it's not a "first year new platform" problem, because 2017 owners are reporting the same issue. My service adviser told me one of the service guys with a Buick is having the same problem apparently. GM, you know this is a huge problem. Don't let it become another ignition problem. Just want this fixed.

Using the wiper makes it come back very quickly and worse. Let me demonstrate.

I do not like using my phone while driving, but I finally got fed up this week and took a photo to demonstrate. For the first photo I pulled over and showed where my AC controls had been set. I hit the wipers and pull back onto the road. Only 29 seconds between photos, it is back and denser than the first time. You can tell the 2nd pic because I'm now on the road again and there is water to left of the windshield after just wiping it. These photos are taken at my eye level. I'm 6'3". I had only been driving for 5-10 minutes at the time.

Humidity was low, skies were partial cloudy and there hadn't been rain that day. So complete opposite of what people claimed is just bad weather in the southeast.

GM, get your sh!t together.

My youngest took these photos because she was freaked out that she couldn't see the cars in front of us. This is at highway speeds and air friction shouldn't allow this to happen unless the glass is very chilled.

Photos are 18 seconds apart, after wiping the windshield. We got off the highway to stick a towel on the glass after that because it was so opaque.

I never used my wipers in my 2013 Camaro. Never fogged and rain rolled up and over once I hit 41mph. Using wipers with no rain is just the insane opposite.

Wow this is getting bad. Everyone should be bugging their dealer about this, the more that shout the faster this gets taken care of.

It's why mine is going back tomorrow. My dealership said they also added a couple Camaros to their loaner fleet and have one set aside for me (at least they better have). I figure when the loaner Camaro does it, I will be able to record that too and add it to my case.

Also, the dealership can then have their loaner back and tear it apart for testing and whatnot and do whatever with their car and not mine.

Holy hell, and you're on I-4 to boot. Every time I get on that effing interstate it's like "Mad Max: Fury Road" all over again.
