OK here is what I got. I have a 256gb flash drive. The songs worked on Mylink but my m3u playlists don't show up under the playlists option on Mylink. I can go to the "More" options and select "Folder view". This let's me open the playlist. Just wondering if I'm just not being patient enough with ~19000 songs. Do you guys see playlists.

Trying making a folder called Playlists and putting them there. That's how mine is set up

I'll give that a try on Sunday. Left town for the weekend so I won't be able to get back at it until Sunday night.

Any other suggestions? Just want it to work without much manipulation.

I moved all my playlists to a playlist folder and they still didn't show up. I have very little patience. Grrrr!

I think I'm just not waiting long enough. I'm going to leave it for a few days. I think the indexing may take longer than the 5 or 10 minutes that I'm giving it.

What program did you use to make the Playlists? I used windows media player and mp3tag both with no issues. Might want to try a small usb stick with one and see if it is indexing taking awhile.

I used iTunes and exported as m3u. I manually removed the path to the files in each of the playlists. If I go to "More" under the "Browse" menu then I can select the playlist and it will play but it just won't show up under the "Playlists" menu item. Just doesn't make sense.

I think I'll try it with a smaller drive like you suggested. I have a 1 gigger that should be easy enough.

Thanks for all of your input/suggestions.

Check out this thread. Another member made a great tool for creating playlists right out of iTunes.

I saw that but all I have is a Mac. I could virtualize a windows machine but will exhaust all other options first.

Finally got it to work. I have no idea what I did differently other than removing the MacOS extended attributes from the files.

Sweet wondered if it might be something Mac OS was doing to them.

That's what I'm thinking.

Thanks for your help.
