Differences between 2SS and ZL1
Figured I'd make this a bit easier to read for others vs reading the full order guide. Maybe, some will be adding a ZL1 next to or upgrade from a 2SS and want to know the differences easier instead of reading through through 107 pages like me lol.
I am only making this for the 2SS and am not including LPO's are there are ZERO LPO's that are ZL1 only (EXCEPT, exposed carbon fiber hood extract). ZL1 differences/upgrades over the 2SS: - LT4 650/650 hp/tq is STANDARD. ~ Atomic Ed - Suede EVERYWHERE (dash, knee pads, arm rests, seats, shift knob, steering wheel etc) vs just leather. - Red seat belt (depending on color choice. Red, Black, Silver, Grey, and White only) - AQJ Recaros with Jet Black w/ Red Accents code H0W (also heated/vented) ~ HumanWiki - MRC (magnetic ride control) is STANDARD (option for SS) - NPP (dual mode exhaust) is STANDARD (option for all other 6th gen trims) - E-LSD (electronic limited slip diff) is STANDARD (not available except for 1LE) - 20x10 front, 20x11 FORGED wheels is STANDARD (not available except for 1LE and different design) - 285/30/20 front, 305/30/20 rear tires are STANDARD (not available except for 1LE and same tires) - 6 Piston front brembo's are STANDARD (Like 1LE but option for the rest) - 1 extra cooler for the ZL1 vs others (not sure if 1LE has it as well, rear diff) - A10, 10 speed automatic (only on ZL1 at this point in time and not available @ launch) - Custom Launch control (you will be able to enter specific RPM on when to launch the car). - Line lock (Front brakes lock up, rear brakes full open to perform a quick and easy burnout) - Pedals are sport allow (only available on the ZL1 from what we've seen and according to the order guide) - Spoiler, rear stanchion while similar to SS but is different. Larger and wider (only available on the ZL1) - Carbon Fiber interior instrumental penal molding (only available on the ZL1) - Carbon Fiber hood extract (all are carbon fiber, however exposed CF weave is an extra OPTION) - PDR, Performance data recorder. Nav is INCLUDED with the PDR ~ HumanWiki A couple other differences that were NOT listed were: - Exhaust tips are larger than the other trim NPP's and there are no crimps. - LT4 ZL1 does indeed have TRI-Y Headers - Wider front fenders ~ Obsessed 17 - ZL1 badge on the grill is NOT a 2 piece clip on like the SS/RS. A part of the grill is actually extended to house the ZL1 badge and is also a 3 piece, the letters and number are individual (Z - L - 1). - NO "Redesigned" Red-White-Blue Camaro Badge on the fenders on the ZL1 ~ Johnman PS: Feel free to add any other differences/upgrades you may have noticed or know, and I will edit my post! Thank you!

1LT w/ 1LE (A1X) and 1SS w/ 1LE (A1Y) get AQJ Recaros, with Jet Black code H1T (guessing this is non-vented, heat only.)
2LT w/ 1LE (A1X) and 2SS (can option it) get AQJ Recaros with Jet Black code H0Y (this is probably the heated/vented versions) since we know 2LT/2SS have this. ZL1 gets AQJ Recaros with Jet Black w/ Red Accents code H0W (also heated/vented)\ Figure PDR will require Nav (and be included with) as it uses GPS to make the track map and the two are paired on Corvette. EDIT --- Added/Updated my own.. The PDF is hard to read on my phone at times. |

That's awesome. I like the new Recaros better than the old ones.

Thanks for the write up, Tr6 and info on the seats HumanWiki. Trying to decide which one to get next year and now that the Recaro seats will be available on 2SS gives it a Pro now.

Wait, so the 1LE would have an option for vented seats? Frankly, I'd need those more on the track than heated seats.

1LT and 1SS don't have vented seats. 2LT and 2SS do. ZL1 does. So, the guess is, that 1LT/SS with 1LE won't have them since they share a seat code and don't have that in their non-1LE option form. 2LT/2SS will since they share seats and do have this in non-1LE form. But, no one can confirm this. |

The 1LE package for the v6 and v8 do add the Recaro's. They weren't really clear on that with the order guide.

Please do share because I did not see a crimp on ANY of the ZL1's that were in Michigan during the 50th event (They were CTF so who knows). Yep, I did crawl under it and check it. It is possible though, the reason behind the crimps is for convertible xbraces to fit and to eliminate any drone (straight from Camaro team). |

The 1LE has most of the ZL1 bits minus the engine of course. The CF hood would be nice though.
