Mishimoto catch Can & The 2016 2SS Convertible

Will the Mishimoto Catch Can for the hard top 2016 2SS also work for the convertible? The convertible has a strut bar that connects where the catch can bracket is supposed to mount. Can this be mounted under the strut bar or will there be another solution?

Mishimoto should be able to stamp 3 equal thickness spacers for convertible customers, or measure with a caliper tool and go to Ace Hardware to find something suitable.

Remove strut bar
Install catch can bracket and secure with inner mounting bolt
Place 1 spacer between the strut bar and strut tower at the other 3 bolt locations not occupied by the catch can mount
Replace the strut bar bolts

I installed mine by removing the strut, installing the can As stated above, then reinstalling the cross member. I did not notice a need for spacers but thinking about it now I am going to double check my install. Pretty easy actually.
