I had the puking gas at fill up issue with my '08 Wrangler. The fix for that was replacing the filler neck.

It could also be a vent line. I'm sure someone else can explain it better than me but a gas pump filler uses the venturi effect to know when to shut off. If something interrupts the air flow over filling is the result.

Your cap doesn't look right. Mine looks like that before it latches. I have 3k miles on mine and no issues filling up. I stop the first time the pump clicks off.

I've filled the car twice since I got it. I've had no problems as of yet.

Turn the vehicle OFF, re-fuel, wait, pay attention for the 1st click...done. Do not go any further.

Still having this issue.
So frustrating.
I love this car, but this os driving me nuts.
Dealer says chevy is not aware of others having this issue.Has anybody else got theirs fixed?
There were three other people here with same issue.

Interesting. The only thing I have noted so far is just some residual weeping from the nozzle after it shuts off as I pull it out. I make sure it is in past both flaps before I begin refueling. The residual fuel weeping out though does make me crazy but I just wipe it up with a towel before leaving.

Mine spills out only if I continue to try and top up the fuel after the initial shut off of the pump. If I just stop pumping when pump shuts off and don't add anymore it's fine.

Usually solved on the Vette by turning pump upside down when filling.....

Problem fixed.
Replaced tank, was actually a stuck valve that allows venting left to right halves of tank

I've only filled up once, no problem yet. Glad you got yours fixed and they found a problem. If I do have future problems, I'll know what to suggest.
