I have no idea, maybe it's a quality control hold. There's no real way to know either. Every time I ask Chevy chat, they say I am at 4300. Becky says 4B00. It's strange, this is the first time that there has been a discrepancy between the two. All I can do right now is hope that it ships soon.

Serious!? So, we have stayed in sequence, even up til pick. Wife and I are heading out at 3 a.m., to Woodhaven to get ours. Awesome.

Yeah, it totally caught me off guard. I was at work and I got an email from my dealer asking me if I could come in tomorrow. I wasn't about to say no. It's a strange coincidence, but it looks like you and I will pick up our cars simultaneously.

Nice that you guys are picking your new rides up. I had a TPW of 8/1 and as of this afternoon car still not produced. Would anyone happen to know if the plant is up and running on weekends?

Mine was produced 10 days ago (8/2) I have the VIN# but according to Chevrolet Customer Service...it is still sitting at the plant in Lansing MI. for quality control. Maybe next week????

As far as I know, the plant is still up on saturdays and down on sundays. Regardless, it's not uncommon for cars to take longer than their TPW to build. Convertibles in particular seem to take longer from what I have seen on this forum. Hang in there, I know it's frustrating. The TPW is just a target, even if it is missed, you haven't been forgotten.

Having said that, get your dealer to call the DBC (Dealer business centre) and ask them what's up. That should hopefully shed a little light on what's delaying your car. Also, keep in mind that the system isn't very predictable. As you can see from this thread alone, Heath's car and mine had virtually identical timings from order placed to built but his was delivered a week before mine.

Congratulations!

I picked my car up yesterday as well. OnStar has been giving me a few issues and errors today, but otherwise, the car is fantastic! Best purchase ever.
