Yes the difference is night and day. Much better than a spray tint. If you're going to pay $200 the extra $250 is worth it. You can sell your old lights and recoup the difference. That's what I did.

Better is a matter of opinion. My opinion is that these are much better than painting or tinting the stock lights. The thing is that they are very different. These lights are not simply a tinted stock light. They have a dark interior and a clear lens.

Very kind of you to ask. I am sort of on the fence. Somehow the dark ones look less... I am struggling to find the right word... intense when lit up. Sort of more subdued. I can't say for sure if it is just the pictures and they don't come across that way in person. But, I am glad that everyone is happy with them who bought them!

I'll put one in and take pictures in darkness so there is a comparison. Driving lights and brake applied.

It's an illusion in the photos, the red lens makes it look like a larger area is lit up when it's just reflected ambient light, they're the same intensity at dusk and at night... the illusion is also less apparent when actually looking at them in real life.
