Do you know if the 3M adhesive will damage the dash after you remove it?

I hope not. I just got one today and placed it in the same place as in that picture.

My phone is pretty heavy, so it scares the crap out of me that I am going to hit a big bump and it is going to fall straight down, scratching up the middle console.

It didn't happen on my 45 minute drive to work this morning but my 1st instinct when going over a bump is to stick my hand under the phone to catch it, lol.

Added the Mophie wireless magnetic vent holder today. Made an aluminum bracket that gets bolted to a bolt behind the passenger knee pad. Completely reversible and no drilling or glueing required.

Looks great. Is that a USB cable coming out of the bottom of the phone? If so, where is it routed to? Thanks.

The problem with this world is stupidity.
I'm not saying there should be penalties for stupidity,
but why don't we just take the warning labels off everything and let the problem solve itself.

It is a USB cable. It's routed to the USB port in the center console compartment. It goes from the holder back towards the glove box then it comes around buried under the plastic parts on the center console back to the USB port.

I just recently got this mount. I had been putting my phone on the wireless charging pad but I found myself reaching back too often to grab it. I have the mount in the right center vent. Works better than I anticipated. I actually find myself less distracted by not having to reach back.
