But it's soooooo coool.

and, even though it is expensive, I believe it can be used as a dash cam.

Sure, but when convincing wife of ZL1 upgrade over camming the SS, "cool" isn't needed for me and doesn't help hahaha

Don't forget resale value. Unless you're like me someone else will own your car someday. The same holds true for NPP. Not getting it can potentially hurt resale value a bit. Always consider the next owner.

You'll never get back equal value on options. It's almost as bad as aftermarket mods.

so...YES if you are couped up.
Are they really comparing to the old ZL1 for wieght?? I think it will have 220lbs reduction in its current platform. With the added weight of brakes/FI/drivetrain, I'm confident it will weight close to a fully loaded SS. If not, this is BS, like Ford did with their 'weight reduction' BS with the Mustang.

Anyway its going to be fast and the fastest car for the money, ever, period. I'm glad I did not saved anything for a GT350 (still badass..)

Next owner? If I had a zl1 I would most likely hold on to it and not treat it like an old washing machine. That's just me.

Not really a question of getting money back. Just saying it detracts from potential buyers when you're car isn't equipped with what the majority of buyers want. If I thought everyone wanted a sunroof I'd get it just so my options of reselling were better. That's all.

Mine will never be resold. Like I said I've never sold a car. I crashed my first one and I have every car since I was 19. I'm with you. We're all growing old together.

That's how I feel about my 15 1LE. It's likely to be the one I hold on to. At 41, it just seems like the right time to keep what I have. zl1 is out of my price range anyway.

Mines a keeper! It's a FIFTY! I'll most certainly buy others down the road but I think this ones a keeper. ... I'd love to say I'll be around for ONE HUNDRED... But I'm also into reality. Lol

1) Coupe

2) Mosaic Black

3) Dark Tail lamps

4) Carbon fiber weave hood

5) Carbon fiber interior trim

6) Dark Night Structura door trim

7) PDR (maybe). Might be a silly question, but do you guys know if the PDR can be installed outside the factory? I might change my mind and want it after a year of DD'ing it, then taking it to the track. Maybe some folks considered the same thing with the corvette.

Not estimating price because i'm too scared right now, haha.
