I looked into doing this, trading in my 1LT RS for a 2SS, they wanted to give me 24K for it, I couldn't justify a 8K loss, had to turn it down, will just get a 2ss in 2020!

8k loss on your trade in, which means you owe 32k?

Wow, that's insane. I'm guessing you have a fully loaded 1LT.. have you tried kbb instant cash? It's usually more and most dealers will honor it.

You did what all of us V6 owners dream of doing daily! I totally would if I could swing the extra money! How much did your monthly go up?

Wow, thought I was the only one!

Also had a 13 GT before the EB.

Glad I didn't get the 16 5.0, I would def. have buyers remorse! All it took was one test drive in the SS. The test drive was so convincing I never looked back.

In the end, I went to the darkside with a Camaro and loving everyday of it!!

So, looking to trade in my V6 for a 1SS as well. Hope they give me a fair deal on my trade as the 1SS is under $36K. I wont be upside down but I don't want to lose my butt in the deal either. Meeting the guy at 6 PM tonight, will post how it goes.

PS: Wish I had a PO!

Did they get this figured out? There was another thread on the "reduce engine power" from the use of Vitesse throttle controller.. Could be a defect, installed improperly, etc.

http://www.camaro6.com/forums/showth...hlight=vitesse

If you're 100% stock then let the warranty run it's course.

I'd be extremely suprised if you get a good trade in quote, because remember that the V6's are also 10% off so you can get a new v6 full loaded for under 30K right now.

Well, I show up and the car has 500+ miles already on it. Not too big a deal but would have been nice to know before when I checked online or when I called.

Now I go to do the deal and the desk manager puts full MSRP on it. I reminded him about the deal online so he marks it down a little. I show him again the Internet price and he then finally changes it to match online. He did not want to honor the deal. Now things are getting to me.

Now we get to the trade, I would have to eat $5000+. Not too bad but the whole deal before has really got to me.

Decided to walk, wasted 3 hours.

5k including your trade in and the OTD of the 1SS? Good for you man, don't take a deal when there could be a better deal. Let them call you back.

If you haven't, use KBB instant cash value for your car and let them honor it if it's higher than what they gave you. Print it out and show them.. most dealers at least around here usually honors it.

It hurt leaving as I doubt there is a lower priced 1SS out there. That power was awesome.
