2016 Camaro - European spec
Hi guys
For anyone interested, here's a photo of a European spec Camaro V8 that I've had the pleasure of test-driving. Over here we only get a choice of two cars - a 2lt Turbo (with choice of an optional extras pack) or the V8 that comes fully loaded like a 2SS (and then some). Only extras then are a choice of 3 wheel types, paint, interior and the opportunity to spec the variable exhaust and magnetic suspension as a combined option. Steering wheel is on the left regardless of where in Europe it's sold. Also, no SS badging anywhere. For some reason the premium paints over here are a little different to the USA - Black, Bright Yellow and Red Hot are 'free' while all others are £500. Except Garnet Red, which is over £1000. Apologies if the pic is a bit large! |

No SS badge? Strange. Do they think people will be ashamed to have the SS b/c of its large V8? Maybe so.
I kind of like the lighting on the side mirrors.

I hadn't even noticed the lack of lights on the US mirrors! The EU spec is power folding, heated mirrors with blind spot indicators and turn signal.
The SS badge is dropped due to sensitivities RE: WWII. |

Love the turn signal mirrors. Wonder if the wiring is already in place? Gotta price and source for those in the UK??
