Get your car back until the part arrives, pull NPP fuse and listen to exhaust

Yeah definitely wouldn't leave my car, I hate leaving it for a few hours, let alone a few days if I don't have to...Good luck, hopefully a fix/parts comes soon.

Sorry to hear that......I'd go back and say "thanks, but I'll take my car back, until the part is in".
I recently saw a story about dealership "joyrides". That, plus I don't like the idea of door dings, etc. on a new car, as it sits there, crammed in with other cars-just my opinion.

I have a '17 and I'm at 500Kms (300 miles); no IO6 issues at the moment.....Good Luck.

I really really really really really really appreciate all the thoughts and ideas believe me I did not want to leave my car there but I felt it was kind of like a set up question, when he said it's totally up to you and then I was thinking hey why not just take there's to work not mine because I drive 30 miles to work each day put all the miles on their car. My issues did not start until I hit around 1200 miles that's when it went haywire I really pray this doesn't happen to anyone else it sucks.. if I were you guys with the 17, I would ask Your dealer if they could check on anything regarding an update because that's what Mine says they probably won't know what you're talking about but it's worth asking , so maybe they can take care of it or get information before and if something does happen, I seriously doubt mine is the only one this is going to happen to not wishing this on anybody just being honest. Of all the 17ts built it just can't be mine and GM should be and now well aware of the situation it might end up being a recall issue, but pray its not.

I think it would be great that every dealer had a check in sheet, just like when you rent a car - dealer marks all the damage on the car, owner and dealer sign.

I get the car back, if something exists that wasn't on the sheet...

Anyway, that along with cameras in the service bays that I can watch remotely and get the recorded video from.

Who wants to go in on a dealership with me?

lol, my old dealership (I used to work at) would inspect all newer vehicles for dings and dents and put a small body shop advertising magnet on that area and show it to the customer before taking the car in for service to show the existing damage. Then go over the car again after the service and hand the magnet to the customer in case they wanted to get an estimate on the repair.

Lots of mylink problems reported over in the "problem" forum. Mine acted up quite a bit. Had it to the dealer twice. Once was a software update, second time they said they had to disconnect the battery as the update didn't take. Been ok for the past 2 weeks, so we'll see.

No way would I stop driving my Camaro over a bad radio - but to each his own. Stuff breaks. It's part of life. I wouldn't be happy if my radio quit working but then again I keep my car running with the track mode sound so that's all the music I need
