Motor Trend Buyer's Guide -- !LE price revealed?
The September issue lists the base price of Camaro as ranging up to $44,900. That's $2,000 more than a 2SS and $7,000 more than a 1SS. I know that the 1LE shouldn't really have it's own "base price," but maybe this time around it will be a separate model like the ZL1. The $7,000 spread does make some sense relative to a 1SS.

Isn't that the price of an SS Convertible?

I don't think they are including the 1LE in that summary. The 1LE will still just be a performance package that can be added, not its own model. Think of it the same way as Z51 package on a Corvette. As others mentioned I just think they are showing the base price of a convertible.

An SS 1LE wouldn't be a base car.

It appears they are just listing the price range for all the base models in the lineup:
1LT Coupe = $27,300 1LT Convertible = $34,300 1SS Coupe = $37,900 1SS Convertible = $44,900 For a base price range of $27,300 - $44,900. |

I have that issue and many of the prices from across numerous manufacturers are off.

For the previous model years the 1LE package was an additional $3500. You can easily add that to the base cost, and a little more seeing the mag ride will increase price.

Idk maybe Aaron spilled the beans to the Motor Trend guys behind closed doors and then they let it slip to me or it could have been just an educated guess on his part. I guess we well see soon, by August 20th if what I have seen around is correct. |

You wont be able to replace that e diff. That is a pretty big deal. If you get a 1ss and mod it yourself you will probably still spend as much on it to get it close to what the 1le offers in performance.
