The Stainless works system has the valves. I think it sounds good.
Fairly priced.

Of course you can put anything you want on your car but you paid for the NPP system and it's a good system. No need to throw it away.

If you want something affordable, look up MBRP. They have race style cat backs (loud) for about $700. And Axle backs for $500

Running Man and Last Action Hero... good 'ol Governor Arnold movies. Your avatar and signature are making me want to have a 80's action flick weekend.

Now back to your regularly scheduled topic.

Just install a switch somewhere in the cabin to open and close much like dump valves.
Im actually finalizing the deal on my new (16) 2SS tomorrow and it does NOT have NPP installed.

Working on having the dealership install the rear valance and quad tips before final sale.

No one there yet is fully sure how it will work, if its possible and what it will take to make it work. Im curious if they are able to flash the electronics to make it work since the "mode" button is in the car, just only controls the steering mode if you dont have NPP.

Basically what im trying to say is I hope to have a first hand answer to this question tomorrow. Even though NPP is only like a 900 option, id have to pick a 16 that is a few K more overall price just to get NPP. Hoping to get it and not have to go with an aftermarket exhaust.
