Thank you all so much! Sorry I haven't been on all day. Today was spent driving. And driving. And driving some more. And then driving a bit more.

And non-stop smiling.

I'm still basically in shock. After working towards this for so long, it just doesn't seem real yet. I haven't been able to stop looking at it constantly. I got to show a lot of friends and family today. Gave introduction drives, let close family members drive it a bit (with me in the passenger seat and after I went over the break-in procedure with them, of course). People are just genuinely impressed with this beast. One of the most consistent comments has been, "DAMN that engine is HUGE!!"

I FREAKIN love active rev match. The way it makes the car "grunt" and "growl" when I'm about to downshift or when I pop it into neutral. It just gives the car so much character. Makes me smile every time.

I have a lot of mods planned. All cosmetic. These will be spaced out over time, so that there is always something new going on with it. My tentative order (top of list being the stuff I have planned first, bottom of the list being stuff I have planned to do last) includes:

LED rear license plate lights - might do this tonight, actually
Sto-N-Go front plate bracket - Tomorrow night after wash
Window Tint - 35%
LED reverse lights
Change front and rear SS emblems to 50th edition NGM SS emblems
Paint calipers Red (thanks to Sledgehammer70 for great how-to vids)
Black tail lights
Black illuminated bow tie
"Redline" concept "CAMARO" front fender emblems
ZL1 spoiler
Powder coat rims to Black Chrome

I feel like there might be a few more things, but I can't currently remember them.

SayHelloToMyLittleFriend - Dude, are you familiar with the Sutter Buttes?? Short, but very beautiful, winding drive. We gotta plan a cruise and hangout someday. We'll have to organize something in the regional forums. Looking forward to meeting you and other fellow owners in our area.

Congrats to everybody else who have taken delivery!

You're a lot nicer than me. I've only let my husband drive it for 3 brief drives lol!!!

I just don't really like the other two, harder to read. I may change at some point for the sake of changing but I'm sticking with the default for now.

I like the information one if I am expecting to use my phone a lot via Bluetooth. I do like being able to dial down into a single setting like number of 'G's I am pulling.

I find the technology display suits me just fine. I have coolant temperature and fuel with my digital speedometer. I use the HUD more than anything especially during break in to stay below 4000 RPM.

BAMF,

Never been to Sutter Buttes and we'll definitely meet up sometime. There's quite a few in our area 50 to Tahoe, Mosquito Road loop on 49, PCH out in the Bay, Silverado Trail in Napa, River Road in Sac, 120 to Yosemite, etc. These are all day trips you can do. Gotta love where we live

On the default myself. It's a matter of preference plus I use and LOVE my HUD so I don't find myself looking down the gauges anymore.

I totally agree on the HUD. It is not coming off that setting until after 1,500 miles. I love that thing. (Does it show the speed on the dash too? ) I have past the 4,000 rev mark about 4 times in just over 500 mile... by accident of course (can you say mattress on the freeway), and only very briefly.

Boy I want to see what this V6 can do in a Vert. I test dove the V8 and V6 coupes before ordering. Loved both. Loved the convertible option more than the V8 option. I know this girl just wants to get up and run. 1,000 careful miles to go.

My only disappointment with the HUD is it doesn't display the turn signals or brights indicator in it like it did on my 2011.

I guess that since you have not let me drive your 2011, I have not missed the features.

Isn't it way past your bedtime? It's past mine and I am three time zones away!

I don't know why I thought you were EDT. But no matter. Just chilling on the board seeing what cool things are going on.
