GM Family First website issue

I've been trying to build a 2017 2LT convertible to get employee pricing, and I'm running into an issue in the build screens. If you choose the V6, and select the automatic transmission, the webpage changes the engine choice back to the 4 turbo... I've tried different combinations of options, but I can't get a full build/pricing completed on their page. I know I can get close by using the 2016 employee price for the transmission, but I was wondering if anyone else has tried this and had trouble with their configuration.
I did email the "generic" site email address about it as well.

Haven't heard a word from anyone.

Another web issue:
In general, if I access a dealer's inventory pages on their website, about half the time the "window sticker" never returns the data for the vehicle. Sometimes it works, and the options are laid out just like the window sticker; other times, you have to sift through the descriptions trying to see if the car has NPP, RS, etc.

Minor gripes, I know. But GM sure seems to be way behind on their website for the 2017 model. They don't even have photos loaded.

I'm not having any trouble with the website building a 2LT V6 Auto. It did pop up saying that it was removing the 2.0T option when I picked V6 which was a little strange, but it still kept V6 and Auto.

Also, pictures are up.

Maybe try it again. Might want to have a little understanding that there may be some hiccups while the site is being updated for a new model.

Oh, I know. I've been in IT for over 35 years; I get the understanding part...

When I tried the same config with the convertible option, it did the pop up and actually changed the checked options on the page. I'll give it a shot again tonight. Nice to hear pics are up now too.

The window sticker option is the more aggravating. I would have thought it was a fairly simple web services type call, pass in the VIN, etc., get the options, render the "sticker" page. Saves digging around in the description wording...
Hey, thanks for the reply, too!

Edit: just tried again, and this time it added the 3.6, but the 2.0 is still "checked", which means you can't select the NPP option... so, it's still a work in progress...

Same thing happened to me at my dealer. Apparently, when I went they weren't accepting v6 autos. Went with the 2.0L, and can't wait!!!!

We had the same issue,

The gear ratio needs to be changed to get the v6 Auto.

That's simply not true. If you still want the V6, go back to your dealer and get him to modify your order. Even though my dealer couldn't "configure" the V6 auto in his build tool for a price estimate, the combination can definitely still be ordered. You can look on this website to figure out pricing for supplier and employee discounts or just add the cost of the transmission on the final configuration price of your vehicle if you aren't using either discount.

Thanks, TPW is this week so I'm just going to stick with it. Great info for next time though.

Web Site Problems

You might already have the answer to your problem but, I just bought a 50th Anniversary and the salesperson had the same difficulty. The solution was to change the axle ratio to 2.7 and then you could choose the V6.

I'm having the same issue on the supplier discount site. I always get to the final page and wonder why the price is lower than I expected, and I see it still has the turbo 4 when I selected the v6.

I don't mean to sound naive, but what does the difference in axle ratios mean?

I notice now when I build a V6 auto on Chevy.com, it lets me do it, but it notifies me that the ratio changes.
