The Calipers look great in the blue! In the future I will be ordering the same ones with black writing.

Well, the stickers matched close enough to the picture of my brakes I sent him, but the 6 pistons have too much orange in them now to match with 5th gen red in back. The powder coating quality was really well done and turned around quickly too, but I just can't pull it off, especially with an open wheel. He's going to find the current gen6 6 piston color paint this weekend and I should have some pictures of them on the car next week hopefully.

LB how did this turn out? The g2 red kit came in today but I am hesitant on attempting to match the rears to the front LPO 6p calipers. Aren't the front 6p LPO calipers painted not powder coated? My tint/clear bra installer said he is used to dealing with these things. He said he can match the rears exactly to the fronts.

I have the 6 piston LPOs as well... tried getting the shop I use to spray the rears with a can of caliper paint I bought... they came out pretty well all things considered, but the paint matches even less than LesBear's above :(

I have something else to drive for now and there's a scuff on one of my front 6 pistons. Figured I could take all four calipers, stock 6 piston LPOs along with the painted rears, and send them over to you. Would you guys be able to take them apart, strip whatever paint/powder is on them right now, powder them in a red that would match the SS emblems and put them back together? How much would that cost?

Edit: I would also like the big Camaro logo in tri-color with a small black Brembo logo to the side (like in the original post).

Edit 2: Do'h! Just realized the tri-color logo has red in it... Camaro letter in white then.

Well, if you like the wrong red, they came out great lol. His workmanship was good.

Apparently he doesn't have the correct red to match the 6th gen 6 pistons, so I volunteered to find it for him. When I discovered Prismatic Powders and asked if he used them, he surprisingly told me yes, but didn't get his red from them and that they don't have paint codes for their colors. If you look at Prismatic's site, you'll see they have literally every color under the rainbow and then some. Even custom mixed colors have item numbers. Prismatic will send you up to 5 free swatches if you're trying to match something.

I was going to buy the paint and send them to him to finish, but I think that I've just had enough. It's my busy season at work and I shouldn't be doing the leg work, buying the paint he should've bought before taking the job, then shipping things back and forth on my dime. When I get around to matching the paint I'm probably just going to bring them somewhere local.

Totally understand and agree! This is the dilemma I'm having. My tinter/clear bra installer buddy does high end cars like a politician tells lies so I think I'm going to take my car to him to color match this Friday. Thank for the confirmation.

I just had my calipers powdercoated red with just the Brembo logo in white. I didn't care for the Camaro/Brembo logos on the calipers, too busy for me. I think they came out great & Kevin is great to deal with also. I highly recommend him!
