Can you put clear over the final coat and stickers? Not sure if clear coat would handle the heat?

Curious about this as well.

Love the look you created there, OP.

so just did my G2 today. How did it dry for you? Pictures are deceiving. Can you all still see some brush strokes? It certainly doesn't dry perfectly level unless I did something wrong.

If you used the brush that came with the kit, that's your problem. I switched over a couple cars ago to a higher quality brush for the tight areas and a one inch foam brush for the flat face of the caliper. I've had great results on many cars now

Curious what the temperature was when y'all painted these. It says no higher than 76. I'll have to wait until September or October before I have 4 or 5 hours in the 70's.
I didn't read this entire thread sorry if it was already mentioned.

I was also going to mention that! If it's too warm or humid, the second and third coats just don't lay right as the first coat is just sticky. You only have a few hours to get those coats on before the paint hardens. You almost have to find an air conditioned shop in the summer

Well first off all it was very hot here. Maybe 90. So I know that was an issue. Also, I did buy a brush and did not use the supplied one. But I didn't use a foam one which sounds like it might have been a good idea. I think the heat and humidity affected mine. It still came out well but not perfection.. And I'm a perfectionist at heart.

Personally speaking, you can definitely see brush strokes on mine but only from really up close. One of the rear ones came out perfect on the flat surface but the others with the decals you don't even notice it. They look oem otherwise. As for temp. I did mine while sweating my b***s off but if you let it dry and switch brushes once they get sticky, you'll be good.

Looks like he may have used spray paint. Requires masking a lot more off, but would have been a lot easier. They look damn near perfect.

Heres mine I did yesterday. G2. You can see some strokes, but after putting wheels back on, it looks great.
My stickers haven't come in yet..
