Consumable costs for 6-piston vs 4-piston
Has anyone looked into how the price of track pads for the 1LE 6-piston brakes compares to pads for the regular 4-piston Brembos? Or how the rotor cost compares?

Negligible, price variances will be factor of pad type. 6 piston BBK pads can be cheaper compared to 4 piston pads depending on the type/brand of pad. Bigger rotors will be more expensive to change but in the same diameter the rotors can be identical.

I was hoping someone had already done the research. I've found surprising differences between the cost of pads depending on the caliper. For example, a C5 rotor/pad is a lot less than a gen 4 Camaro pad/rotor.

Your question is like asking if 20in tires will be more expensive than 19in tires. Everything else being equal, chances are that the 20in tires are going to be slightly more expensive. But, you can spend way more money on 19in tires if you want to depending on the type, brand, width, aspect ratio etc. Or less on 20in tires if you don't want to pay the OE manufacturer prices. In the end, I think its a wash given that the base SS already has Brembo BBKs standard.
