Overhead console removal

If that is part of the cross-car header panel, then it is screwed in from the top. Not sure if it is part of that whole piece or not.

It looks like it has some clips on the front side , but can't seem to loose them up.

Those two metal clips hold it in place. They are on the edge closest to the windshield.

I've been trying to pop this sucker out so I could place my mirror tap. I saw those clips, but I wasn't sure if that was going to break it or unclip. Thanks again.
