I'd be so effin mad, sorry about your car. You need to talk to your neighbor, he's liable, whether he wants to be or not.

Ouch, I would send a bill to your neighbor. They probably don't know the overspray landed on your vehicle.

This is no big deal. Before you go to war, put a bit of mineral spirits on a rag and test a spot. Wood stain is oil based, mineral spirits should take it off..... And totally safe for paint.
after that you have to wash, re-wax or seal. |

Even if that is an oil based stain, it's not going to grab to the clearcoat of the car, I'd just be worried about the color staining it, so I'd be trying to remove it ASAP.
Good news is, if they used Thompson's deck stain, you should just be able to hose it right off, that shit is garbage even for it's intended purpose ![]() Edit: Glen beat me to it, I'd go the paint thinner route like he suggested. It shouldn't be hot enough to affect the clear but it'll probably take off any wax you've put on the car

+1 Foot the bill to the neighbor. If he doesn't want to pay, Foot the Foot to the Neighbors ass. That's messed up. Looks like it comes right off easy from what others are saying thats good at least.

It was coming off with wax, micro fiber and my thumbnail but there's just so many spots. My old man was saying the same thing but the stuff he has is as old as me and was chunky haha. Thanks for the advice. I didnt see my neighbor today making sure i have my fuse pulled for when i leave for work at 530am tomorrow! I broke my adams detailer bottle out of rage so im going to expense that as well. Going to try and do it myself and give him the receipts to reimburse me for supplies.
