How Fat Can I Go?

What is the widest tire that will fit in the wheel well without interference or rubbing issues on the rear? I know about the rubbing issues with 305/35 series tires on 11 inch rims due to tire height issues on the drivers side. Aside from that and with a 30 series tire, how wide can a person go? Has anyone tried 315's or 325's on the back?

Fattest I've seen mentioned on here is 305's.

I had to get 305/30s, problem is the car looks like a 4x4.

Why is your front so high? Also, getting larger tires shouldn't raise the ride height. Why did your car get higher?

No idea, maybe the car has to settle.

the 315/35s from my 5th gen were rubbing, dealer said securing the wire harness would would the warranty (whatever that means), so my only choice was to replace the tires with 305/30s, as you can see, the wheel well gap is huge.

Well if your car just got down from a life sure it'll look higher and a simple drive around the block the suspension will settle down to it's original height.

Putting the 305's in should decrease the wheel gap due to the bigger tire if anything.

Anymore pics of the whole car with showing the stance? This is puzzling..

Dealer don't want you to move/mess with the wire harness thus the void warranty issue.

I think it's because you went with a 30 instead of a 35. Shorter tire.

In hindsight, I should have gone 295/35.

315/325 would need low profile and an offset that would push the wheel out quite a bit.
some people like that look, but I think it looks... weird.

There is a 12" set-up out but they still use 305's. Fender issues limit the width. 325 might work with 30 series or 25 series
