Well, perhaps the eliminator will work and just take it off before service.
Yeah, go with the eliminator for now or "drive" around it by getting past certain rpm or more throttle, pause in between if you get a 1-4 lockout. Just wait a sec and then you can go into 2nd.

I took my 2SS in for an issue with the transmission. I have a CAGS eliminator harness on it and the dealer didn't say a word to me about it. They wound up replacing the throw-out bearing under warranty.

I have this problem but its not the skip-shift issue... i get it when the car is cold... like if I drive it after many days... the 1-2 change never happens smoothly.. and I literally have to use strength to put it to 2nd... changing into neutral and then 2nd slows me down a lot.. I hate it.. but I cant do much since the car is cold..

You may want to have it looked at. My car cold or warm never have a problems going into gear.

I get the TR6060 is a very beefy transmission and with a twin disc I believe but it shouldn't have problems going into any gears whatsover.. warm or cold.

I get now where if I happen to not be thinking and shift to 2nd below 20 and with not much throttle progression I just accept the 4th gear. Like everyone else says it's a PIA!! Shouldn't have to concentrate on shifting above 20mph. I got other things to think about while driving!!

I DON'T want to be a "dick" here, But this is a REALLY quick and easy problem to overcome, Either install a CAGS Elm. kit or learn to Drive around the CAGS system, Its Very Easy to do. I would get rid of it if Mine was a 6M.

Caption obvious!! I think we know those options bud as far as learning to drive around the CAGS system which I have. But from time to time it's gonna kick in accidentally if the requirements aren't met. And it's aggravating that's all. And I'm not gonna get rid of my car!!!

Two things I don't like in the stick SS.. the soft throttle and the skip shift. But they did that to save us 2 grand on the gas guzzler tax.

Hey bruh I don't appreciate the degrading name calling. I'm neither a moron or a dick. I'm a grown man and come up here for advice and opinions and to give mine. I didn't say anything out the way. A little bit of fuss here and there is excusable. But saying stuff like u did is just childish. And against policy on this site. Moderators??
