I had also messaged Becky with the questions, and she confirmed that the Bright Silver Split Spokes are not an LPO item. Which is perfectly ok, I am just happy I have the correct info. I completely trust it coming from her, but not any other salesman or dealership.

...if there is anyone else out there who happens to read this and is considering ordering, listen to my advice. Do yourself a favor and just order through Becky. It is SO much easier to work with someone who you can trust both knows their stuff, and is actually going to work FOR YOUR best interest. With any other salesman out there, that confidence is just not there, and it can be a hassle always having to go back and confirm things back and forth. Furthermore, there are still a lot of things I have known that the dealership didn't, and they absolutely should have known. That's not a very confident feeling when you are about to give them almost $50K or more (future ZL1/C7 owners). If I could go back and start over, I would have ordered through her instead.

I've offered for my dad and brother in law to drive it and both declined. My dad loves it though. He isn't the type to say that but you can tell by his reactions and things he says. He had a '67 when he was younger.

I'm sorry the ordering experience wasn't the best for you. If I had a bad experience I would probably be the same way. To each their own though.

It wasn't so much a bad experience (though it could have been better), it's just that I don't think it was good for me due to all of the unknowns.

The dealer didn't lie about allocation and I definitely can't complain about how fast it arrived. I won't rule it out completely but I will attempt to be less picky about lot cars for the next one.

I gotcha. I'm glad you got your car and are happy with it though. And yeah this route isn't for everyone.

I have an outside shot at winning. Car may hit the local rail yard today (left central AZ a few hours ago). They have up to 72 hours to offload and release it once it arrives (weekends don't count). Still no word on my LPO items if they are in or not.

So the only way I will win is if, by some miracle, they offload and release the car tomorrow and the LPO items are in. And then you have three time zones on me. It's a long shot, but I am not out of it just yet! Still fighting to win!
