Camaro not broken in yet

they state the Mustang has 9k miles on it's tires the Camaro has 500 miles on its tires, who drives a car like that with only 500 miles on it, engine brakes ect haven't been properly broken in not a true example of a Camaro, to be fair to the Mustang a PP mustang should have been chosen.

I don't get the torque comments. I hope it's not true. The LT1 was suppose to have as much low end torque as the ls7. The cubic inches alone should make a huge difference. And why would you test cars somewhere where the altitude is one mile.

Agreed, makes no sense. The LT1 makes more torque everywhere and in a lighter car. What he was was experiencing was grip and a proper suspension and LSD putting power to the ground. So, because he wasn't overwhelming the tires and chassis he "wanted" even more torque. What he should have been saying is "Wow, this car puts the power to the ground so well, it could handle even more power!" And that is what the ZL1 and Z28 will do.

I experienced the same thing in my GEN5 1LE. Watch Randy Pobst drive the cars and he demonstrates how the two cars perform very different on track. These goofy goobers in this video figured it out without even really knowing what they are doing.

They claim to have launched at 5000 to 6000 rpm (LC off) and had no torque in low rpms. Makes no sense. There had to have been bad fuel in the car. I dare anyone to try it. Watch out for the wall

Overall I don't like he video. I'm not a fan of the hosts of editing.
Those same people will praise the Mustangs dedicated chassis. Why bring a GTPP to a SS fight? Save that for the 1LE. Oh wait, they'll need a GT350TP for that.

All I can say is this- I've had my 2SS for exactly a week yesterday. I've had at least 10 different D bags in mustangs "challenge" me. They act like total A holes when they see my car. That tells me they are pretty much butt hurt and threatened by the awesomeness of the Gen6. Shame too, because I really like the mustang. Bottom line, I'm a car guy- not a brand guy. The gen6 just plain walks all over the mustang. Numbers don't lie.

Yes, the no low end torque comments don't make any sense to me. When the LT1 came out it was advertising 50 ft/lbs more torque than an LS3 which is no slouch. When I watch the goofy video from subaruwrxfan, the back end gets loose when he is rolling and nails it. On the third time he is barely rolling, floors it and has to let off with as he was getting wheelspin. This is what low end torque gives us. Looking forward to a 2SS, 6 speed, NPP, mag ride control.

That's just part of the Chevy vs. Ford wars. I eyeball every mustang I see too. It's like "They're the Enemy", lol. I kind of enjoy it.

OK, Hotlap, you really know how to outfit a car. I am in the option deciding mode. I am doing the 2SS because I want the Kalahari seats which I see you have. The blade spoiler is fantastic. I am thinking of the black bow tie as well. I am trying to decide on wheels, the ones you've chosen look great. How did you decide on these options? looking at pictures on the website? going to dealerships? just curious as it looks as though you did your homework.
