Out with the 5th and in with the 6th
I took advantage of the 0% financing on a 6thgen.
I came from a very good looking, nicely modified 2014 2SS. Blacked out the hood like the 1LE, front splitter, Z28 spoiler, wheels similar to the Z28 wheels, lowered an inch, TSP headers, NPP exhaust, Roto-fab intake, tune and a few other things. It was a nice car...I'll miss it but good God this new chassis and weight loss is a beautiful thing. Being a service advisor at a Chevy dealership I drove these cars and knew what they're about but now since owning one I haven't stopped smiling. I got a good deal on it, GM Employee Pricing and 0%. Perfect present to welcome in a new job(getting out of the dealership hell, it consumes your life lol). I worry about the white accents and keep them clean, the car will be driven a lot in the non winter months. I have two gripes...one...the center console and glove compartment storage spaces are a joke....and two...the NPP is waaaaaay too quiet even with the fuse pulled...I know our A8 cars have the secondary valves for the AFM but damn she's still too quiet. No major mods on the horizon...once Roto-fab comes out with their intake I'll buy that, maybe a tune and tinting the windows(a must).

I thought the NPP was too quiet too....then I let a friend do a fly by in his SS. It's just quiet in the car. 6th gen is certainly quieter than the 5th.

I pulled the fuse for NPP on day one of ownership, and with AFM you do not need stealth mode. You can't even hear the car when it is in V4 mode cruising around town., and I drive the car in Track mode 100% of the time.

I got the same deal and made the switch as well. Went from a 2012 LT2 Vert in IOM to a 2016 LT2 RS Vert in Red Hot. I am so happy with this car!
