I wasn't a fan of the price and agree it is on the higher side. I did pay $200 less for a real Carbon Fiber spoiler from Anvil Auto a few years ago, but that spoiler was a lot less involved.

I shall see how the quality is when I get, I fully expect amazing packaging and a flawless product for the price.
It looks to be of very good quality! I will post a thread later today with it installed . If you check my previous thread list, you'll see unboxed pics of it and the packaging.

The price is really high. Compared to the GM blade that is almost unnoticeable, and cost $450, its not too bad.
The painted ACS price is way too much!

Here are some pics of the CFM spoiler in the sun. I won't be able to get it on until Saturday though.

You guys have to understand they are not GM. The mold to make that piece (assuming it is injection molded) was anywhere from $10,000 to $50,000 depending on complexity.

Yeah, they end up being able to make the piece stupid cheap (MAYBE $50?) but they have to recoup QUITE a large investment.

Even a good fiberglass mold will run you $5k on a spoiler. Then price per piece (in the USA, Chinese Duraflex crap is an entirely different story) for a good product is more than what GM charges retail (sometimes, especially a 3 piece).

GM has the benefit of the American tax payer footing their bill when their $20k molds don't pay off lol... aftermarket companies don't. It's hit or miss. We're still sitting on a $10k mold for the ZL1 style hood we made for the Silverado... and only sold 3 of in a year lol.

Oh I get it... I just know I paid a lot less for a real Carbon fiber spoiler. I guess they don't plan on selling many of these at the price point they have.

So if they sell enough, will the price go down? I kind of doubt it. These are all things that need to be figured out prior to production. If it's not going to be a cost effective venture, maybe you don't make it. Especially if the market is considerably lower.

No matter how you explain it, $650 for an unpainted spoiler is A LOT of money and not many people will be able to afford it, IMO. And I am one of them. It's a shame because it's a beautiful design.

Who knows, maybe I am completely off base and they will sell a bunch of them. In any case, I think it's important they get feedback, that's what these forums are for.

Best of luck to all!

The more I see the aftermarket spoilers, the more I like the stock spoiler.
I'm sure I will post something on your install video and say that its ugly or something like that. haha

I just saw this today and I wonder if Lethal (OP)was going to showcase it on his YouTube channel. I guess he is. I plan on getting it as well.

You're not off base at all. Many will sit and wait for a more affordable spoiler and they will be available soon.

maybe if a third brake light was integrated into the spoiler it would make sense for it to be that price. I really like the look and I was one of the guys that was going to stick with his stock spoiler until I saw this one. The price has to go down if they want to make their money back. Obviously this is all my opinion and Camaro 6 could be filled with a bunch of wealthy people.

ACS Composite rear Deck Lid Spoiler (Carbon Flash Metallic Black) Ordered!

Pricing it higher doesn't mean you're going to make up for the cost of your 5k-10k mold. No one will buy something if there are other similar items for less money. 650 for this unpainted spoiler just means it looks EFFIN SICK!........but will make my wallet sick too!

I ordered this piece from Phastek Performance as Ricardo is simply awesome!

As always... look for an unboxing, install and review over on my channel! (link in my signature)
I like it, but the sides look "off" to me. I think if they tapered down more to body it would look more appealing. It may look completely different mounted in person, but for me the sides needs to be closer to the body line that or make it a 3 piece spoiler
