Sledge - well done on your videos. I sold my 2013 SS2/RS a couple of weeks ago and picked up my 2016 SS2. Your videos are helping me narrow down my decision for CAI and exhaust. I had a Borla ATAK Catback system on my 2013 as well as a K&N CAI, so I am a fan of Borla, but keeping my options open this time. Keep up the good work.

Fixed the issue pieces... yes I know this video is long, but the place who fixed it asked I not record the equipment or worker :( So I tried something new.

Cool, glad you're happy with it Seldge, and glad you got those dented pipes fixed proper. Those clamp style connections do have a tendency to leak a bit of condensation, as you probably know, so I'd be curious how those do. I get little black droplet spots on my shop floor from my Challenger's and I've tightened those things to like 100 ft/lbs. I've thought about going to some paste but didn't wanna deal with the mess since I work on the car often.

Curious if you took any weights of the SW vs stock? Sure looks better without that suitcase in there.

Thanks for the video Sledge! If you can put a percentage on it, how much louder is it than your NPP? Is it noticeably deeper? That's always the thing that's hard for mics to pic up

Great video. Thanks for your hard work!

Quick question: do you think you could start the car in track mode (with the fuse pulled) in the morning without waking the neighbors?

Hey Sledge I was wondering if you could compare the sound levels and loudness between valves open and valves closed. Also how loud is valves closed on the new system compared to valves open on stock exhaust. I have stainless works headers, high flow cats, x-pipe, into the stock muffler. I love how quiet it is with valves closed but wish it was a little louder valves open. I'm considering adding the axle back but I couldn't really tell a difference between valves open and closed on their videos. I know it would give me the loudness I'm after but I'm worried it would be too loud with valves closed.
Thanks for any help you could provide

I wasn't able to weight it. But I can ask the folks at Stainless Works.

The system with valves closed (Tour) is about 2x louder than the stock dual mode system... maybe 3x track mode. With the valves open... it's a race car. Keep in mind I have test pipes on for this week only and that is driving the bulk of the noise increase I think.

Not with the test pipes on...

As mentioned above, I have tested pipes on mine currently. My car sounds like a race car with valves open, and is fairly loud with valves closed. It is blowing out my mic unless I move it back by 50ft.

I'm curious why you didn't get afm valves. I had pulled fuse 43 before I ordered my SW setup to test if I wanted afm valves and the bassy drone in v4 mode without afm valves was unbearable to me, even with npp valves closed. I can't imagine with no cats and SW mufflers. It's crazy bassy now with my current setup when I pulled fuse 43 to experiment. Do you plan to tune outv4 mode?

Had some mic blow out issues with the stainless works system, but I would say in track mode it is easily 8-10x louder.

I use the range AFM killer, my car never goes into v4 mode, so the valves were pointless.
