They are very comfortable. I'm 6'0 215. The only issue is headroom especially if trying to sit in a racing position. I unfortunately bought mine with a sunroof and am now in the process of replacing my roof

Go sit in an ATS-V with recaros. (Can't believe this wasn't said yet)
Same platform, seats should be either the exact same, or really close. That being said... As a former fat dude (was 6'1 and 295lbs at one point with a 35%+ bodyfat ), and now as a "big but athletic dude" (208lbs and 18-22% BF) - If I fit into GM recaros at my heaviest... you guys weighing 250-275 should be fine |

I think there may be some confusion over why the recaros are in there. It's not supposed to be ultimate comfort. Big puffy leather recliners are comfortable. The object of a track oriented seat is to hold you in place. If it's tight on your hips and shoulders it's doing it's job. The stock seats in my car are pretty comfortable. At the track they are a nightmare. I took a ride in a C5 with true racing seats. Were they comfortable? HELL NO! I couldn't move. The plus side? In high speed high G maneuvers, I didn't move.
The Recaros aren't true race seats nor are they comfy passenger car seats. I think they're trying to find the middle ground with them. Remember this is supposed to be the track package. You WANT a nice snug fit at the track. Just my .02

If you can fit in an ATS-V seat, you'll likely fit in a 6th gen 1LE/ZL1 seat |

ATS-V Recaros are 16-way power adjustable so you can customize the fit to your body type. Unfortunately, I don't think we will get that kind of luxury in 1LE, although I wouldn't even think twice about paying the extra weight (and cost) penalty for having those seats.

I'll totally trade you my 1SS seats for your Recaros lol! I was so bummed the first year cars didn't have the option for the Recaros. I also had an ST and loved the Recaros on the track although the SS seats are much more supportive than they look.

By the way, ATS-V sedan is $3k off MSRP and 0% for 72 months... Just saying.

BUT the big difference is I was able to order the size that fit my body type. If my shoulders don't fit flush with the back of the seat (which is my issue in many "race" style seats) it is VERY uncomfortable and terrible for your back. Not to mention not as safe when tracking. |
