Chevy SS Sedan sightings???

The only reason I bring this up on our Forum is that besides the Corvette, the SS Sedan is the only other performance car in Chevy's lineup....With Pontiac gone the only other division of the General that has some slick cars is Cadillac.

Even though the SS Sedan is not a high volume car, I have not seen one yet on the road in NE Ohio and I am by Cleveland so there are a good amount of cars on the road. I always keep my eyes peeled and the only place I see 'em is at the dealerships.
Has anyone here went up against one or is there any areas where any of you's see a few of Them??

Thnx!

It's a low volume car, both sales and manufacturing wise.

There are a few running around here in Florida.

I saw a black one last weekend here in Houston. I looked very nice, and sounded good. I love the look of the front of the car.

I agree, and they really look good in person.

They look great. Gotta love a Holden... but I'll never jump down that rabbit hole again. Low volume = discontinued and hard to find parts expensive parts.

Not really. It's a fully loaded V8 RWD sports sedan. It's priced where it should be.

I agree, fair price for what you get. However I'm sad that they're not going to be around anymore. :( It would be cool if Chevy picked up where Holden is leaving off and made a refreshed SS. But I doubt that would happen due to the low volume they sell.

Saw a few at the Indy car race at Road America last weekend. I was there for four days though so you see lots of nice cars parking all around the facility.

It has been discussed that GM would resume production of a new SS sedan at LGR along with the Camaro.....

Three of them at my local dealership. Drove one. It was nice, but expensive. And since we had already owned a G8 and there were no good incentives, we ended up with a fully loaded Malibu last month.

I like the SS a lot, but it feels last gen. Felt almost last gen when it arrived. Styling a bit on the soft side, LS3 engine, 6 speed automatic. Love the interior.

If Chevrolet picks up this car and keeps it moving forward into a new generation, and it uses the lighter, more nimble Alpha chassis, with the LT1, and 8, or even the 10 speed transmission, and last but not least, give the styling a little kick in the pants to be more modern/aggressive.....

....I'd want one bad. lol

Wife and I have a 2 year old, and there will likely be another child in our future. The Camaro is not my daily driver, and it works fine for having one forward facing car seat in the rear behind the passenger side (I pick up my daughter from the daycare....the wifey drops her off) but there is no way, even on the passenger side to get a rear facing seat in there comfortably. Trust me...I did it. On my 5th gen it wasn't too bad, but I had to do it for a few months in the 6th gen before we got a forward facing seat and it was a complete pain in the butt b/c of the differences in the roof line and decreased back seat space in the 6th gen. There is no way I will ever be able to put two car seats in the back.

Now I know....its a Camaro. its not meant for that. I agree. That's why my daily is a crew cab truck. But for someone like me that has a young family, the SS sedan makes sense. But the Camaro in my opinion, is so much more modern than the SS, that I could never consider it (and the additional cost above my 1SS)

If they made a trim version of the SS that wasn't fully loaded (aka: expensive!) that'd be awesome, not to mention the rare-ness of them makes them very cool.
