Glad you are OK. Might want to check with your insurance and see if this claim will count against your record. Also, you might be on the hook for the deductible. Your agent or a company representative should be able to help you out with these basic questions.
Yes, that would have been in the early 80s to the mid 80s. (Before my time). Towards the end of the football era, they were pretty damn good actually, then the school dropped football in 1990.

The intersection outside my office building has accidents like this all the time. The median has tall plants and trees, so its nearly impossible to see if a car is coming if a car is in the left turn lane on the opposite side of the road.

GW & Hugger I FULLY agree that That's whats wrong with America!! But You also MUST agree that THIS was NOT an accident, It was a POOR Decision of a driver to RUN A RED LIGHT!!!!! Accidents can not be avoided, This Could have been. Sorry if you don't agree, Its OK. But this WILL cost the owner of the Camaro, One way or another. (Loss of the car, Increased rates, Mark on Driving record,Replacement Cost) To Name a FEW. Do You think the Insurance Co. will Look out for His Rights? Hire a Lawyer!!!!!!

Wait a minute! You proceeded to make a left hand turn when it was not safe to do so?

Yeah, there was a vehicle already stopped at the intersection blocking your direct line of vision, but it was your responsibility to ensure that it was safe enough to make the turn. The only time this wouldn't matter that much is if you had a green arrow for the left hand turn. Sorry if that sounded harsh, but that's what a good attorney would try to say if you had to go to court over this.

Glad you weren't hurt and I hope you get back into another Camaro someday.

Glad you weren't hurt. That was a big hit you took. It's a shame about your car. Good luck in your new life in Texas. I lived in the DFW area for 18 years. You'll like it there I think.

Damn it's cool your ok, if the passenger side is fine the bracing must be strong, lawyer is good advice. If you got hit dead on passenger side 50mph the whiplash and injuries will eventually show up. I got hit on my bike and my back is ****ed and trying to collect has been a bitch. I'd lawyer up personally
